Boarding Scholarships

Boarding Scholarships are offered on the basis of an application and interview, plus previous school reports and a personal reference.

Applicants must demonstrate a positive attitude to studies and extracurricular involvement. Recipients will be expected to maintain a commitment to studies and make a significant contribution to boarding life at 91������.

Applications for 2025 are now open.

Before applying please ensure you are available to attend an interview with the Head of Boarding held at 91������. Your interview will be scheduled during school hours between 3 and 14 June.

International Boarding Student Scholarship

WELCOMING BACK OUR INTERNATIONAL BOARDERS!

To celebrate the return of International students post-COVID 91������ is offering International Boarding Student Scholarships. Scholarships are open to International Boarding Students commencing at Cathedral in Years 7 to 10 in 2024, enrolled in either Study Aboard or CRICOS registered Courses.

An International Scholarship Student is considered an exceptional scholar of good character. It is expected they will make a notable contribution to the school community. As a recipient of an International Boarding Student Scholarship, students are required to maintain a high commitment to their studies and participate broadly in the school program in order they maximise their opportunities.

Arts Scholarships

Arts Scholarships are offered across a range of fields including Music (Instrumental/Voice), Dance, and Drama (Performer/Tech Crew). Scholarships are offered on the basis of an application and audition, plus a reference from a current music teacher.

Applicants must demonstrate excellence on their principal field and commitment to performing arts. Applicants with expertise in multiple fields will be favoured. Recipients will be expected to maintain commitment to studies and make a significant contribution to their field(s) at 91������.

Before applying please ensure you are available to attend an audition at 91������. Your audition will be scheduled during school hours between 3 and 14 June.

Sports Scholarships

Sports Scholarships are offered on the basis of an application and fitness assessment, plus a reference from a current sports coach.

Applicants must demonstrate good athletic ability plus commitment and achievement in selected Cathedral School sport/s over an extended period. Recipients will be expected to maintain a commitment to studies and make a significant contribution to the sports program at 91������ including dedicated participation in one or more of the school’s major team sports (rowing, rugby, girls netball, boys basketball, and mountain biking).

Before applying please ensure you are available to attend fitness testing held at 91������ on Saturday 1 June 2024 at 1:00 p.m.

Christian Scholarships

Christian Scholarships are offered on the basis of an application and interview, plus a reference from a pastor or parish priest.

Applicants must demonstrate Christian values and active participation in parish life at their local Church. Recipients will be expected to maintain a commitment to studies and make a significant contribution to Christian life at 91������.

Applications for 2025 are now open.

Before applying please ensure you are available to attend an interview with the School Chaplain at 91������. Your interview will be scheduled during school hours between 3 and 14 June.
